Care for Uganda also work in partnership with an ALN day centre off Entebbe Road. We are discussing how best to provide for this group which has children with autism, downs syndrome and other special needs.

Elijah (left) is aged 12. In the past year he left school in order to look after his brother, Elisha, aged 13, who has downs syndrome. Elijah had to do this as his mother was too ill to cope. Sadly, she has since died of AIDS. Thankfully a lady has come forward who will foster these two boys. Elijah has now been able to return to school.
